A CEFFORT is a formal agreement on a collaboration within its own budget.

The C in CEFFORT represents

• Collaboration,

• Combination of Competence,

• Creativity and

• Communication

A CEFFORT can be based on interests within a "mini network" or a project group. Typically it is first formalised with a ‘Letter of Intent’ to take part in development of a collaboration.

A formal collaboration agreement that describes the aims, conditions and deliverables is then made.

The CEFFORT itself is lead by a Steering committee decided by the participants within the collaboration.

The operative work is managed (or coordinated) by CEFFORT AB on behalf of the Steering committee.
