The CELS Network traces its roots to the former Nordic Networks on Biomanufacturing (NbiNet) and the Diagnostic Industry Stakeholders Network (DiagISN). These networks had a focus on networking and communication of knowledge.

The true motivation from the CELS Network comes from an urge to do more. The complexity, rapid development pace, market potentials and diversity within life sciences are particular challenges that deserve collaboration.
